Jennifer is one of our newest moms in the program. She came to us after living from shelter to shelter. New Beginnings was able to provide housing for this family and hope for a mother and child in a desperate situation. Jennifer has a 3-year-old daughter who loves dancing and playing with other kids at daycare. Jennifer is now a full-time student taking 4 classes and passing all of them. She is hard working and just accepted a part time job through UNT which she is very excited about. Jennifer has a very strong walk with God and openly shares during our life skills group. Spiritually, this month, she is working on living in the Word. Some of her long-term goals are to continue her education and pursue a degree in counseling, gain financial stability, and continue to strengthen her walk with the Lord.
